This may be the only coffeehouse with a mission statement on the back of its menu. "To create a warm and relaxing environment, where people within the community can come together socially, spiritually, and intellectually to encourage unity, prosperity and intellectual stimulation." Whether James is maxing out a credit card to take busloads to the Presidential Inauguration or hiring the winos to clean up the corner area of 18th and Broadway, he continues to help... the community.
Expressions of You offers a full-service cafe' serving sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts, and specialty coffee. Catering services include breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees. The bookstore and gallery feature local and national authors. Our Open Mic has brought us a list of top billing acts.
