Just a little something about myself. I am 52 years of age and happily marrried to Debra. Dawson Ashby. We celebrated our 12th. Anniversary Sept. 5th. We have three daughters Shavonne Ashby Lewis (27), Lillie Ashby (15), Leigh Ann Ashby (13) and one son James Ashby (21). I am an assoicate minister at Clay St. Missionary Baptist Church and my Pastor is Rev. Ronald L. Holder. I was licensed Feb. 24th. 2002. and ordained Dec. 7th. 2003. I excepted my calling into the Ministry while being incarcerated in the Sheby County Dententionn Center in Jan, 1999. I served three years in prison and during that time I taught Bible Study and served the Lord through a Ministry He gave me called Liberty in Christ Ministry. It is a letter writing ministry to encourag men and women in prison in the Word of God. In which we still do today. God save my life and it took me going to prison to do that. So, you can understand that I have a love for prison Ministries. We have been connected with the Angle Tree Prison Fellowship for 7 years. I also go to Simmons College of Ky. I Love serving my Lord Jesus Christ through the Chaplaincy program at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville and here at my Church. I lead the Noon Day Bible Study Class and just love giving back and sharing with other children of God. May God Bless You All. Rev. Ashby
I check it out and it is very good. I pray that this is a way to get to people and let them know that it is not all about the church house.....but the good things that come from being part of a church family.
